The Caligula Effect: Overdose - A JRPG with a Twist

The Caligula Effect: Overdose is a role-playing game developed by Engine Software and published by NIS America. It is available on the PlayStation 4 platform as a full version game. The game takes place in a virtual world called Mobius, created by a sentient vocaloid program, μ (Mu), where people can relive their high school years in bliss. However, there is something wrong with this seemingly perfect world, and it's up to the player to escape from it with their fellow students and return to reality.

The game boasts enhanced visuals and gameplay, with new scenarios, endings, and the "Forbidden Musician Route" added. Additionally, a new female protagonist and two new members of the Go-Home Club have been added, each with their own new Ostinato Musician to face. The turn-based battle system meets exhilarating action in this refined JRPG battle system, where players can use the Imaginary Chain to predict their enemies' next move. Befriend over 500 other students in the imaginary paradise to improve your skills in battle and ultimately return to reality.
